Cactus Rig 117 was leveled by a tornado last night in Canadian County, Oklahoma. According to the Smith Tools Rig Report- Cactus Rig 117 was drilling a 16,463' (~5000 mt) horizontal well for Cimarex Energy when it was ripped apart by the tornado Friday afternoon. We have no information on injuries at this time. So far the storm claimed 7 lives and injured more than 60 when as many as 5 separate tornados touched down throught western/central Oklahoma and Kansas late Friday afternoon.
